What are the different types of door stops?

Will this finish match my other hardware?

Should I install a doorstop on the door, floor or architrave?

This largely depends on the type of floor and how much space is available. If you have tiled floors you may prefer to mount on the architrave or door. If you prefer to keep the floor clear, a rubber stop can be mounted onto the door.
