Lift Off Hinges are a type of hinge made up of two parts which allow door removal without the need to open the door. These are often used on bathroom and ensuite doors where lift off hinges may be required*

This (set of 2) Lift Off Hinge in satin nickel finish is designed to match Mucheln door levers and other hardware for unified styling and is suitable for all internal doors with a minimum thickness of 32mm.

IMPORTANT: Lift off hinges come in LEFT and RIGHT versions. You will be required to select this before adding the item to your cart. To determine which side hinge you need, stand in front of the door on the side that will swing open towards you.

• If the hinges are on the left side you require Left-sided Lift Off Hinges.
• If the hinges are on the right side you require Right-sided Lift Off Hinges.

*Australian building law requires that in an emergency, a toilet door can be removed by someone on the outside. Lift off hinges should be used if the space between the toilet pan and the door is less than 1200mm. Otherwise you can kick the door in an emergency.
