It's recommended you clean your black door handles at least once every 2 months and door handles every 6 months. This is to ensure grime and dirt do not build up.

Mix up your cleaning solution. Combine 1 litre of water and 50ml of neutral detergent in the bucket.

Wipe down the powder coat with a rag that has been dampened with the cleaning solution. Do not scrub, but use gentle, repetitive pressure to remove any grime an dirt. Be sure to get in all the corners of your door handle.

Rinse the door handle with another rag dampened with clean water.

Finally, wipe the powder coat down with a clean rag. This will prevent streaking and spotting. Powder coat will not chip or peel like more conventional paints, when cleaned correctly and regularly.
